We have stepped into the pre shadow of Mercury in Retrograde. It will be at full retrograde on the 27th of this month and will end October 18th. This time it's in Libra. As always retrograde brings it challenges, things don't go well, we get delays, electronics hate retrograde and we just lose our patience in general. But better to have it done before we start hitting the holiday season. With it being in Libra you'll find air signs will really face the lack of communication so you may find them not calling you back or texting you back when you're expecting something. Since Libra is all about partnerships and balance Mercury will truly raise hell in those areas. Best not to get into a new business with someone until it goes direct. Also this can really harm romantic relationships. Remember what you're facing and try to be patient with your loved one. As always if you've had a relationship end you could find yourselves reconnecting in some form. 
So remember until Mercury in Retrograde goes direct on October 18th be kind, be prepared for the unexpected and if you are or you are connected to an air sign then expect communication to be really wonky. 

​This Thursday August 19, 2021, Uranus will go retrograde and will not end until January 22, 2022. What does this mean for all of us? It means the events of the year so far will be reevaluated and you'll either come to be okay with them or change them during this Uranus Retrograde. 

How it will affect each sign:

Aries: You'll be questioning your financial situation and if feeling anxious about it you'll want to work on why you feel that way and what you can do about it. This is not the time to hesitate on job movement and making your money work for you not the other way around. 

Taurus: As a Taurus you have to try and go with the flow during this time. Change is hard but this is a time for you to work on letting go of your fears. This is the time to look at what doesn't work for you and figure out how to change that. 

Gemini: You'll be working on an emotional or spiritual awakening. This will be a good time for you to take time out for yourself to go through this journey with little interference. 

Cancer: Friendship and relationships will be in the spotlight for you. You are a go to friend always there but are you getting back what you give out? Time to look at your social group and see if someone is not really there for you. 

Leo: You'll find yourself looking at the last few years of your career and feeling it hasn't exactly been what you really were looking for. A great time to start a job search and make a change for the better. 

Virgo: You Virgo's will be looking for adventure. Feeling like you don't want to be tied down and the need to wander. You'll also be looking at some new reading material and possible looking into furthering your education. 

Libra: The way Uranus will affect you will be very profound, it's all about how you feel about others, your foundations in relationships and within yourself. You'll be searching for your own value to yourself and others.

Scorpio: Relationships will be your big focus. A lot of push and pull trying to have your freedom and also being happy and in love. Love is very important to you and you'll look at yours very closely. 

Sagittarius: You'll find yourself working on your physical health. Looking for ways to get into a daily routine of exercise and eating better. You may find yourself buying a nice piece of workout equipment. Remember to find some quiet time as well. 

Capricorn: A lot of soul searching for you. What makes you happy? What you really want to do with your life? Is this who I want to be with. Look deep and find the real you then get ready to set it in motion. 

Aquarius: You'll be looking at home and be looking for an upgrade. Is it dull, do you feel trapped then it's time to make some changes. Whether it's physical changes in the home or doing an emotional clean up you'll be happy when the negative is all clear. 

Pisces: You'll be wanting to share your thoughts in all aspects of your life. Learning will be in the forefront of what you'll be feeling, look at things you use to love and you'll see them through brand new eyes looking for some change. You'll find yourself very social. 

Astrology has always been in my life. Growing up my Grandmother would get me subscriptions from Dell horoscope and after figuring out my signs I would read each of my horoscopes for the day as well as for the month. It was amazing how much more rounded your horoscope was knowing all the signs. I've messed with astrology a bit over time and this past year since we had this horrible pandemic hit and I was trying to keep my sanity I went further into it. I took some online classes and practiced on my own. I plan on continuing the classes as there is so much to learn and so much I'd like to be able to do with astrology. There's a total of 3 black cats in my house all the time but no bad luck here and surprising once you see this list of superstitions you'll see black cats are actually pretty lucky.

Also we are about to go into a Mercury in Retrograde on the 14th of October. As usual expect bad tempers, high emotions, electronic issues and did a bit of research and found out that if you have legal matters coming up during this retrograde you will have issues so please think before heading to court. If it can wait or be postponed do so. 

October Reading:
Tower: Change will not be easy this month. Very disruptive and stressful but it's all heading
in a good direction. With Retrograde in play just let things move forward as they will. 

Star(reversed): Do not lose hope even though things may not go your way this month. There is still
a hopeful outcome. 

Fool(reversed): Absolutely no sudden decisions at all to be made. This month is about thinking about it and researching before jumping in with both feet. It will not end well if you make a sudden decision. 

Wheel of fortune: Good news here is luck will still linger and opportunities can still be had as long as you are cautious about them. The wheel continuously turns so if things are rough then they'll improve with retrograde. 

Lovers(reversed): This is a tough one as it's paths being open during this month but only the first half the second half remember research before making a decision. This also is a warning to be kind in relationships as they will be very fragile during this month. Some may break up but if you split during retrograde most return to each other with another retrograde.

Happy Full Moon!! So this full moon is called the harvest/corn moon because it's all about gathering what you've sown through the year. We'll have another on October 1st. October gets 2 full moons this year. But back to ours. This moon will appear very large as it's the closest to the earth right now. If it's clear out make sure you go take a look. This full moon is also in Pisces so if you've been feeling rather emotional, creative or just want to run and hide this is why. Don't be mad at yourself if you get super emotional over your dog coming to greet you or your cat in the litter box it's just the moon affecting Pisces. A great night to get creative as well. Temperance(reversed):
Well of course things will still be off balance this month as long as Covid is around this won't change too much. But just make sure you are not letting yourself be a push over with all matters it should always be give and take.
Priest(reversed):
Feeling a bit rebellious this month. Get out there and say what you need to say. Speak up for yourself and be proud of who you are. This is not a time to be meek and generic show the world why you're you.
Wheel of Fortune: 
This is great as some luck will come your way. It won't really be planned just pretty random so pay attention. Also it's a good time to ask about job options, promotions, raises and even looking for jobs. Sometimes people pop into our lives so be on the look out for someone new.
Lovers:
This not only can mean that you'll meet someone wonderful but it can be you rekindling the relationship you have. As well as there's options open to you and you will come upon them and have to choose your path. As there will be multiple.
Hermit:
Make sure you get that time to yourself that you need. It's your best thinking time and with the world like it is a little alone time can be a good thing. Also treat yourself, hit the spa, buy something nice for yourself. Nothing wrong with a little me time. 

Choosing your tarot deck is pretty important. If you have no connection to it then it will not work for you. There are many times of decks that are out there now, it's quite amazing the choices that you can find now. As well as regular decks, oracle decks and even angel decks. I personally use several decks, standard ones, featuring anime, steampunk, fairies, dark fairies, round ones, kitsune oracle cards and regular playing cards. 
First off you should pick ones that you have an interest in. Because they are all part of your personality if you aren't into ancient Egyptians then don't get an Egyptian deck. Pick something you love something that will help you connect more. Also decide what you like more a Rider Waite deck or the oracle style which can be very different. I choose to use both depending on the situation or if I want a different perspective. 
When choosing a deck if you can at least go to a store and touch them this is really helpful. I've found that when I can touch them I get a light electrical energy a tingle if they are a set that I connect with. If I don't feel it then I don't even look further. Unfortunately, you can't do this when buying them online. That's why I say you need to pick a deck that you identify with. I've definitely have gotten a few duds buying ones online I thought I would like. They still work but I'm not as connected as my other decks. So do try to touch them when you can it'll save you a great deal of money. 
Once you pick your deck go through them touching every single card connecting to it. Say a little prayer that you see the truth and that you are able to help yourself and others with what you see. At that point you are ready to begin. If your cards ever feel clogged like you're getting muddled information then hold them in your left hand and knock on them with your right to kick out the excess energy, then you go through them saying your prayer again so they're ready to go.
